Reconsidering the Basic Repertoire

Our basic repertoire of early European dances can tend to be determined by inertia, and by things that beginners have taught to beginners. This class will be about alternatives that might yield a better understanding of early dance, and perhaps even some alternatives that might be more accessible and practical. The format will be dance teaching/practice interspersed with lecture/discussion on the whys and wherefores of the dances. This class is intended for all skill levels from beginner to expert.
