The pipe & tabor is one of the primary instruments for the accompaniment of 15th and 16th century dance. This course will provide a hands-on introduction to playing this instrument and its various equivalents (e.g., flute & drum) as well as some more advanced instruction on repertoire and playing techniques. Some 3-hole pipes can be supplied.
