Canary

The Canary, or Il Canario, is a semi-improvised 16th century dance, with stamping and swagger. We'll go through dance structure, some basic steps and combinations, and composing your solo passages. Improvised does not mean unrehearsed! Hard-heeled shoes not required, but fun if you have them.
