"May the source be with you": Reconstructing Dances from Original Sources

In the SCA, most people learn dances from an instructor. However, the majority of SCA dances originated in dancing manuals of the fifteenth to seventeenth centuries. This workshop invites you to "return to the source" to work through your own reconstructions of more and less familiar dances. We will have translations for all non-English sources available, and musicians are particularly welcome.
