This lecture will offer an overview of current research trends in Renaissance dance research, discussing both classic works, such as Julia Sutton's translated editions of Arbeau and Caroso, and more recent publications, such as Jennifer Nevile's new book about a long-overlooked 17th-century dancing master's notebook.
