Introduction to Middle Eastern Music for Instrumentalists

In this class, we will be discussing the basics of performing Middle Eastern music as an instrumentalist. This includes scales and tuning, melody repertoire, and the fundamentals of soloing. The goal is to prepare beginner and intermediate players for performing in hafla groups. (Please note that each participant should bring their own instruments as none will be provided.)
