An Introduction to the harp: how to hold it, pluck it, and play around!

Do you have a harp but don’t know how to start making music with it? Or do you want a very basic refresher on basic posture, harp technique, and strategies for making music with the harp? If so, this is the class for you! We will cover: The different kinds/sizes of harp How to sit at the harp How to pluck the strings The basic layout of the harp strings How to start making music immediately on the harp! Bring your harp! (Two loaner harps will be available to share around if people don’t have one but are interested in learning.) Leave with a handout which will remind you of the things you learned but also has info on four great YouTube harp teachers (who I learned from before I started taking private lessons.)
