Short Survey of Welsh Dance

Will discuss background material from sources 12th-18th c.. Will also teach some probable Welsh dances from the SCA period, comparing with the same dances in modern Welsh country dance choreographies. Beginning-level; of interest to researchers in particular categories & to people creating Welsh personas. Dances included: Lord of Carnarvan’s Jegg and Bishop of Bangor’s Jigg
